Angra dos Reis is considered a veritable ecological and cultural paradise. It is part of the Ilha Grande Bay, also known as Costa Verde (Green Coast), with a shoreline outlined by bays and dotted by 365 islands.

Nearby islands offer typical restaurants with local and international cuisine as well as floating restaurants that come right up to boats offering customized services to sea vacationers. A great number of yachts and sailing boats from other countries also come to Angra, especially in the summer.

 Angra do Reis is place full of condominiums where many rich people live. The ocean is exceptional, clear and perfect to dive. With so many condominiums the city lacks in infrastructure for tourists.
