Guarujá is a costal city located 80 Km away from São Paulo (aproximately 1,5 Hs by car). It represents one of the closest beach destinations for Sao Paulo citizens. The city has several beach options: from remote beaches with preserved vegetation to urban ones with nice infrastructure where one can just seat and relax drinking a typical “caipirinha”.

Guarujá has several nice restaurants, good hotels and attractions such as a permanent handcraft fair (except Wednesdays), boat rides, a giant acquarium, etc.

During summertime (Nov to Feb) it gets really busy, especialy in the weekends.

It is a nice option for one-day tours or to spend the weekend while in São Paulo.
