Duration: Guests departing to the lodge from Manaus early morning in DAY 1 and arriving back in Manaus by noon of DAY 4.
Guest & Package Profile: This is a great option for nature lovers to discover the heart of the exhuberant Brazilian Amazon region. It is not recommended for young children or people who wants luxury and extreme comfort. This specific lodge is the most remote in the Amazon region which still offer some comfort and infrastructure.
When to go: All the year round. Dry season occurs between Sep and Dec (easier to see birds and otheranimals). Flood season occurs between Jan and Aug. Apr to Dec is the low season when is easier to see and tour around the “Igapós” – flooded forest regions. July is also considered high season.

ITINERARY - 4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS PROGRAM
1st Day - Manaus / Lodge in the Amazon – Arrival in Brazil
80km road transfer to the city of Rio Preto da Eva where a motorized canoe will be waiting to take guests to Malocas Jungle Lodge (approximately 1:30 hours by boat). Lunch. Canoe ride through the Igarapes (swamps) to visit the Caboclos (the locals) who still live in similar conditions to their indian ancestors. Piranha fishing. Dinner. Alligator spotting tour.
2nd Day – Lodge in the Amazon
Breakfast. Ride through the Igapos in small paddle canoes. Jungle trekking where the guides will explain the various uses of the regional plants including those with medicinal properties. Visit one of many waterfalls with stop for swimming. Lunch. Paddling with canoes through the Igapos (Flooded forest) and Igarapes. Swimming in the river. After supper, sitting around the campfire, guests can appreciate the tranquility of the night.
3rd Day - Lodge in the Amazon
Breakfast. Second jungle trekking (different eco system ) ending at a waterfall where guests can swim before returning. Lunch. Survival training where guests will learn to live like the indians using natural products such as roots and medicinal plants. Dinner.
4th Day - Lodge in the Amazon / Manaus
Breakfast. Morning at leisure with optional activities available. Return to city of Rio Preto da Eva in motorized canoes. 80km road transfer back to Manaus. End of services.
