Duration: Package starts in São Paulo, Brazil in the morning of DAY 1and finishes in Rio de Janeiro, in the afternoon of DAY 10, comfortably riding more than 300 miles along the nice roads of the gorgeous Brazilian Green Coast in the southeastern portion of the country.
Guest & Package Profile: This is a great option for people from all ages and tastes where there’s a good balance of city/nightlife, nature, culture/history and lots of entertainment options. Besides visiting the two most important cities of Brazil (São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro), passengers will be able to visit a region with an unique landscape where the green steep hills of the Atlantic Forest reach the Atlantic ocean creating a remarkable scenery. Ilhabela and Paraty are also charming cities with a lot of history and cultural aspects to be explored. Ilhabela is the sail capital of Brazil also with lots of diving spots and Paraty is considered by UNESCO a historical and arquitectural patrimony of mankind.
When to go: All the year round. Dec to Feb are the hottest months. June to August are the coldest. High season includes Jan, Feb, Mar and Jul (Jul is high season mostly in Rio).

ITINERARY - 10 DAYS / 9 NIGHTS PROGRAM
1st Day – São Paulo
Early arrival at the great city of São Paulo, the 3rd largest city in the world. Transfer-in to hotel. Half-Day 4Hs City Tour in the afternoon visiting São Paulo’s most important landmarks and historical sites. At night, welcome dinner in a nice typical restaurant, so guests can enjoy the famous Sao Paulo's nightlife. Overnight in São Paulo.
2nd Day - Ilhabela
In the morning, guests leave São Paulo in a scenic coastal road trip to the great island of Ilhabela, where guests will stay at a nice lodge by the sea. The road trip takes approximately 2 ½ Hs and includes a stop over at a nice typical road restaurant and a ferry boat crossing. Arrival with accommodation at Lodge and panoramic tour through the nearest beaches. Remaining of afternoon FREE. At night, by-night tour visiting Ilhabela’s cozy and lively downtown (several stores, cafes, restaurants). Overnight in Ilhabela.
3rd Day - Ilhabela
Breakfast at lodge. Early departure for a Beach tour visiting marvelous remote beaches and a light trekking to a waterfall. Remaining of afternoon and night are FREE. Overnight in Ilhabela.
4th Day – Ilhabela / Paraty
Breakfast at lodge. Morning departure from Ilhabela heading north by the coast in a road trip towards the famous and historical city of Paraty, with a great atmosphere and a lively downtown located by a beautiful bay with several islands. Arrival with accommodation at Lodge and panoramic tour around the historical district (on foot). Visit to the Murycana farm, a preserved farm from the colonial times where the slaves used to work producing sugar and liquor (cachaça / aguardente). At night, guests can walk from the lodge to downtown and have fun with the local artists, musicians and also have a drink and eat at the fine restaurants and bars. Overnight in Paraty.
5th Day – Paraty
Breakfast at lodge. Morning Half-Day Schooner ride visiting many nice islands and beaches of the region. Free afternoon and night for shopping. Overnight in Paraty.
6th Day – Paraty / Rio de Janeiro
Departure, in the morning, from Paraty towards the great city of Rio de Janeiro, crossing Angra dos Reis. Arrival late in the morning with accommodation at the hotel. Remaining of afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro.
7th Day - Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, departure to a Half-Day City Tour visiting some of the most important landmarks and attractions of Rio de Janeiro (Sugar Loaf by cable car, Beaches and Downtown). Remaining of afternoon and night FREE. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro.
8th Day - Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, departure to Half-Day City Tour visiting the remaining important landmarks and attractions of Rio de Janeiro (Christ Statue over the Corcovado Mountain, “Sambódromo” - where the most famous Carnival parade takes place). Remaining of afternoon FREE. Overnight in Rio de
Janeiro.
9th Day - Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro.
10th DAY - Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast at hotel. Free morning. Transfer to airport early in the evening.

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT ALTERNATIVES

This tour starts in the city of São Paulo and ends in Rio de Janeiro. Guests will have to arrive in São Paulo’s International Airport (Guarulhos – GRU) in the morning of Day 1 and leave Brazil back to their home country in the afternoon/night of Day 10, from Rio de Janeiro’s International Airport (GIG). Another alternative is to departure from São Paulo (GRU), but in this case Day 10 will be impacted as it takes about 6 hours to go from Rio de Janeiro to São Paulo by road. In this case, Day 10 would be mostly spent on the road. Another day can be included (Day 11) to incorporate this change if necessary, with a little increase in the package’s total price.
