Guest & Package Profile: This is a great option for discovering Brazilian richest region in terms of fauna and flora: the Pantanal. It is a package suitable for nature lovers who also want comfort. Covering an area of approximately 143,000 square miles, the Pantanal is the largest floodplain in the Americas. The area is unique in the world.
Savannah lowlands, floodplains and forests are influenced by the Amazon Forest and the scrublands of “Caatinga”, creating a vast mixture of ecosystems. The balance of these ecosystems depends entirely on the water cycles of wet and dry seasons in the region. Everything in the Pantanal reminds the guests of the presence of animals: sounds, traces, and movements.Alligators, wood ibis, cougars, snakebirds, hawks, deer, herons, howling monkeys and countless insects add color and sound to the ecosystem of the Pantanal.
When to go: All the year round. Dry season (high season) occurs between June and December (easier to see birds and animals during the whole season). Flood season (low season) occurs between Jan and May. Hottest months are Dec to Feb.

ITINERARY - 4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS
1st Day - Campo Grande / Pantanal (Caiman Ecolodge)
Arrival at the city of Campo Grande (CGR). Transfer to the Caiman Ecolodge (aprox. 4Hs with a 20min stopover). Check-in. Lunch. Activities (see below). Dinner. Activities (see below);
2nd Day – Pantanal (Caiman Ecolodge)

3rd Day – Pantanal (Caiman Ecolodge)

4th Day – Pantanal / Campo Grande – Departure
Breakfast. Check-out. Transfer back to Campo Grande;
ACTIVITIES:
There are two daily activities, one in the morning and another one in the afternoon: Ecological trail hike,
Photo safari (animal spotting), Farm tour, Canadian Canoe Trip, Horseback ride and Bike ride.
At night, visitors can watch an audiovisual presentation about the Pantanal or take a look at the animals at
night. These night excursions are done after the afternoon outing in the winter; in the summer, they are after
dinner.
TRANSFERS:
The package price includes the regular (SIB) transfers, which occur every WEDNESDAYS, THURSDAYS
AND SUNDAYS as follows:
- Departure from Campo Grande (CGR) to Caiman – 12:30 Hs and 17:00 Hs
- Departure from Caiman to Campo Grande (CGR) – 06:00 and 10:30Hs

EXTENSION TO “BONITO”: Close to the south portion of Pantanal, there's the famous city of Bonito, an
unique place with crystal clear water rivers with amazing fishes, breathtaking caves and one of the main
