mankind. It is located about 3 ½ hours by road trip from the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is a charming and small
colonial town full of historical sites and a cozy and lively downtown, entirely paved with cobblestone and full
of bars and restaurants;
When to go: All the year round. Dec to Feb are the hottest months. June to August the coldest. High season
includes Jan, Feb, Mar. July is also considered high season to some lodges.

ITINERARY - 4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS
1st Day – Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo - Paraty
Morning departure from Rio de Janeiro for a road trip to Paraty (aprox. 3,5 Hs). Check-in at a nice lodge.
Downtown walking tour during the afternoon. Night FREE for shopping and to enjoy the cozy bars and
restaurants of the village;
2nd Day – Paraty
Breakfast at lodge. Morning departure for a breathtaking HD boat ride. Afternoon / night at leisure;
3rd Day – Paraty – Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo
Breakfast at lodge. Visit to the famous Murycana farm, where it was produced the famous “cachaca” liquor. For many years, the word “Paraty” was used to designate this alcoholic beverage produced in the city, due to its quality and high production volume. Check-out at noon. Return to Rio de Janeiro late afternoon;

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT ALTERNATIVES
This packaged trip starts and ends in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Guests will have to arrive in Rio de Janeiro
International Airport (Tom Jobim – GIG) or Domestic Airport (Santos Dumont – SDU) in the morning ofDay 1 and leave Brazil back to their home country or to another city by the end of the program, from the
same airports.
Alternatively, it can start and/or end in the city of Sao Paulo, using both Guarulhos International Airport
(GRU) or Congonhas (CGH).
