Footvolley at the Beach (alternatively Beach Soccer)
Sport created in Brazil on the Copacabana Beach in 1965 in protest against a decision to forbid soccer game on the sand. One group of friends decided to play a soccer variation using a beach volleyball court/net.
It is a collective sport where two teams play against each other. Each team has two or four players in a court of 18m by 09m with a net in the middle. The rules are very similar to volleyball. Each team has the right to touch the ball three times and avoid that the ball touches the floor. The players send the ball back to the adversary field, always using the feet or the head.
THE ACTIVITY: Introductory class and game will is held at the beach. Usually “Barra” beach is used, but Copacabana or Ipanema can also be used for that purpose. During weekends, it is not recommended to perform it due to the beach high occupation.
During the activity, instructors specialized in training international teams offer complete assistance.
The duration of the activity will be about 2 to 3 hours, depending on how many persons decide to play. It can be played both by men and women.
IT INCLUDES: The price includes facility (court at the beach, referees, balls and net) and beach chairs, 01 trophy, 06 medals and mineral water. Alternatively T-Shirts can also be manufactured.

Team Building Adventure at Urca
Team building involves techniques to establish good practices and guarantee team cohesion, developing growth and efficiency.
These practices include sharing goals and common interests, defining roles clearly, establishing confidence and pro-activity, improving communication skills while providing leisure time and an unforgettable experience.
THE ACTIVITY: This team building activity takes place at Urca Urca Hill (close to Sugar loaf). The activities are divided in three phases (three teams). These activities have to be done simultaneously.
Phase 1: Orientation (about 1 hour and 30 minutes): it involves running from one place to another, using a map to guide participants between 4 check points that are marked along the route, from Claudio Coutinho Track to Urca Hill.
Skills worked: teamwork, communication and pro-activity.
Phase 2: Climbing techniques (2 hours): the team will pick up the cable car to Urca Hill. As a way to increase points and accumulate bonuses, every one has to rappelling or use “Falsa Bahiana technique”. The team will earn points according how many people complete the task. After the time finish they go back to initial point by cable car.
Skills worked: Motivation, teamwork and communication.
Phase 3: Kayak (1 hour): the meeting point is at Praia Vermelha (Read Beach), where the kayaks will already be positioned. The guides will be there distributing the lifesaving vests and briefing participants on positioning, rowing and how to behave at sea.
The team has to complete a triangular course, always with a support boat following the group closely.
Skills worked: Strategic planning, sharing goals, motivation and efficiency.

Jeep Adventure at Tijuca Forest (with “Chinese view”)
This is a great team building and entertaining jeep adventure which takes place mainly at the Tijuca National Park. It has 3,200 hectares of Atlantic forest which contributes to the water supply and makes the city more welcoming and beautiful. Inside the park, there are some attractions, such as the Taunay Waterfall. The area is equipped with toilets, a bar and a souvenir shop. It’s a good spot to learn about the coffee plantations that were there until 1845 and where the first reforestation work in Latin America began in 1861. At the Chinese Lookout is possible to see the famous Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, the Christ statue, Sugar loaf, Guanabara Bay and more.
THE ACTIVITY: The group is picked up at the hotel in open jeeps. There´s a 90 minutes trip through the Tijuca national Park to Alto da Boa Vista neighborhood with a stop of 10 minutes at the Chinese Lookout. Afterwards, there is a 30 minute break at the Taunay Waterfall and an 1 hour trekking into the forest. In a special spot, it is possible to perform Native Games or a Treasure Hunting activity (Orienteering), with a picnic break.

Samba Classes
Most foreigners who visit Brazil develop an interest in our dance, specially the Samba rhythm. Based on it we also offer a Samba class activity. It is good to “break the ice” for incentive groups where the participants are not very familiar with each other, or simply as a fun activity to include in the program.
THE ACTIVITY: Samba class of approximate 1 hour (for both man and women of any age).
IT INCLUDES: Instructors and infrastructure.
